Niagara Falls, one of most magnificent wonders of nature, has been drawing the attention of scientists and tourists alike for hundreds of years. Even if you have never been to Niagara Falls you have seen pictures of the enormous falls and you are probably aware of attractions such as Maid of the Mist boat tours and Cave of the Winds which enables you to stand beneath the falls.

Now Niagara Falls State Park have their latest attraction, the Niagara Parks Power Station. In 2021 the park opened their generator hall where you can learn about the history of harnessing the power of the falls. Now you can walk through a tunnel that leads you to a spectacular view of the falls.

According to Niagara Parks' YouTube Channel, the tunnel takes you 180 feet beneath the main generating floor and eventually to a new viewing platform. Imagine the feeling you must get while walking toward the opening of the tunnel. The anticipation to see, feel and hear the American Falls, the Horseshoe and lower Niagara River.
