A viral video surfaced on Sunday evening that shows an Albany woman hurling the "N-word," allegedly toward four African-American women having dinner at Post restaurant on Lark Street in Albany.   In the short video, Caryn Burton of Albany is seen seated at the restaurant having what appears to be a heated conversation with others,  while an Albany police officer stands in front of her attempting to deescalate the situation.

According to a report from AlbanyProper.com, Burton who is seen in the video doing the shouting had been employed by Humana, an American-based health insurance company with a local office on Wolf Road.

The report says that of the four individuals that Burton appeared to be hurling the racial slur toward, one of them was Jammella Anderson, a woman recently praised for her local philanthropy who was recently honored by the United Way of the Greater Capital Region as well as TIME magazine.

After the incident that took place on Sunday night, Anderson posted the video on her Facebook page, and followers and friends immediately called for Burton's firing at Humana.

The insurance company issued a statement on Tuesday to Albany Proper in regards to the incident saying, "At Humana, we have zero tolerance for racism or discrimination of any kind. We have investigated the incident, and Ms. Burton is no longer employed by Humana. We want to make it abundantly clear that Humana does not condone hate speech, and we will continue to support inclusion and belonging inside our company and across our communities.

Post, The Lark Street restaurant where it all happened issued a statement as well that read, in part that Burton is "NEVER welcome anywhere near our establishment ever again and every bar on Lark Street has been alerted of your behavior.”

Here's the video posted of the outburst posted to Anderson's Facebook page.
