There were several questionable calls by officials towards the end of the Buffalo Bills vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on Sunday. Enough to rile up a fanbase for a while. Some would stew but others get creative. Their team may not be winning as much as they would like but the Buffalo Bills fanbase, known as the 'Bills Mafia' is at it again with one of their fundraising initiatives, with an emphasis on the first 3 letters, 'fun.'

The Bills Mafia has raised impressive amounts of money for causes supported by their favorite players, as they have with Josh Allen and Tre'Davious White. They have also made some awesome initiatives for opposing players, like Andy Dalton. In 2018, when Dalton completed a 49-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd beat the Baltimore Ravens and send Bills to the franchise's first playoff appearance since 1999, a grassroots effort began on Twitter to donate to Dalton's charity. $300,000 went to Dalton's foundation in $17 increments. $1 for each year of Buffalo's playoff draught. Well, the Bills Mafia took on another cause Sunday, the Visually Impaired Advancement of Western New York.

According to an article by Bills beat writer, Ryan Talbot of syracuse.com, this time the Bills Mafia is honoring "Scott Novak’s officiating crew by donating $17 to Visually Impaired Advancement (VIA) of Western New York. On Sunday, Novak’s crew missed a few calls, but none appeared to be more obvious than a penalty late that could have set up the Bills’ game-winning score in regulation. Facing a 3rd and 2 from the Buccaneers’ seven-yard line, Bills QB Josh Allen threw a ball to Stefon Diggs. The two could not connect as Diggs appeared to be interfered with by cornerback Carlton Davis. Despite multiple officials having eyes on the play, no flag was thrown. Fans in attendance, however, took some photos that showed Davis clearly pulling on the front of Diggs’ jersey. A flag would have set the Bills up with a 1st and goal from the one. Instead, Buffalo would go on to tie the game with a field goal before falling to the Buccaneers in overtime."

A very cool $40,000 has been raised so far by Bills fans and the nice people at Visually Impaired Advancement of Western New York thanked them, with a clarification. “Thank you, Bills Mafia members, for donating $17! While we recognize that NFL referees are not visually impaired, $17 makes an impact on VIA to help individuals who are visually impaired,” they tweeted. Any fans that would like to make a donation can go to VIAWNY.org/donate. Another example of the best fanbase in the NFL.
