Dig out your dinner jacket, laser-watch, and smug quips – the Capital Region will host cars and props from one of the most iconic film franchises of all time. Bond in Motion, the official exhibition of original automobiles and props from the James Bond movies, will be opening at the Saratoga Automobile Museum this month.

This will be the fifth Bond in Motion Exhibit, and the first on the East Coast. The original was hosted in London, followed by Los Angeles, a special No Time To Die exhibit at the UK’s National Motor Museum, and the most recent in Belgium.

While an official list of franchise vehicles that will be in Saratoga hasn’t been released yet, previous exhibits have shown the Lotus Esprit S1 submarine from The Spy Who Loved Me, the Q Boat from The World Is Not Enough, and of course, the legendary gadget-laden Aston Martin DB5, consistently voted Hollywood’s most famous car.

The exhibit coincides with 007’s 60th anniversary – the original movie, Dr. No, having been released in 1962. The most recent Bond, Daniel Craig, concluded his run as the secret agent in 2021’s No Time To Die.
