The pursuit of a Super Bowl Ring just took a new twist for the Buffalo Bills. According to an article by Sports Illustrated's Justin Barrasso, "a Bills scout" has reached out to Unites States Olympic gold medalist in men’s freestyle 125-kilogram, Gable Steveson and they aren't the only NFL team or professional sport to pursue Gable's gold.

According to Barrasso's August 11th article, Following his historic last-second takedown, Steveson said,“So many great organizations and teams have reached out. A scout from the Bills, there is a connection with the Ravens. The Olympic gold medal is helping me see the world, so my next step is going to be a big decision. I’m going to decompress now and think about it.”

However an NFL career wasn't exactly the direction Justin Barrasso was describing in his article. A career in professional wrestling may be what's up next for the gold medalist. Steveson remains in touch with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar, who have been positive influences in his life since he was in high school. A future in WWE is possible for Steveson, and he already knows who he would align himself with on- and off-camera.“If I ever go to WWE, I’d be a ‘Paul Heyman Guy,’ ” says Steveson, whose older brother Bobby—who, like Gable, starred for the wrestling team at Minnesota—reports next week to train at the WWE Performance Center. “Heyman is a legend. We’d be two people doing great things, and that would be a tough team to beat."'

Maybe the Buffalo Bills have a wrestling move of their own to attract the gold medalist...According to a pretty cool fun fact from Syracuse.com's Ryan Talbot, "The fact that the Bills have interest in Steveson should come as no surprise. Head coach Sean McDermott was an accomplished high school wrestler winning national prep championships in 1992 and 1993 at 171 pounds in high school."
