According to a report, Andrew Cuomo placed a threatening phone call to a political adversary last week that was as much "Goodfellas" as it was gubernatorial.

The man on the receiving end of the call was actually a fellow Democrat, but one who was outspoken in his opposition of the Governor and his handling of Covid-19 related deaths in nursing homes.   The phone call, made last Wednesday, started out with uncomfortable silence with Cuomo ultimately asking, "Are you an honorable man?"

According to the New York Post, Democratic Assemblyman Ron Kim (Queens) says that the threatening phone call from Governor Cuomo has him -  and his wife - shaken.  The call, received last Wednesday, came Kim he was giving his kids a bath.

The source states that while both Cuomo and Kim are Democrats, there is certainly no love lost between the two.  Kim has been very outspoken against the Governor and his staff for alleged cover-ups of nursing home deaths from COVID-19 and Kim, according to the New York Post, lost an uncle due to Covid back in April.

Cuomo's phone call to Kim started with "silence" according to the Post, followed by, "Mr. Kim, are you an honorable man?"

According to the source, Cuomo resorted to bullying Kim because the Assemblyman called out the Gov. and his staff for the way they allegedly covered up Covid-19 related nursing home deaths.  The New York Post learned from Kim that as the call went on, Cuomo expected full compliance or else:

“You will be destroyed.”

“You have not seen my wrath. I have been biting my tongue for months.”

“I can tell the whole world what a bad person you are and you will be finished”

Kim told the New York Post that following the call last Wednesday he and his wife were devastated and that Cuomo did try calling him back multiple times, but Kim refused to take the call.
