Whether you know it as the Knickerbocker, the Pepsi, the T.U. or the MVP Arena, Albany's downtown venue has seen it all since it opened in the 1990's.

We've seen raucous crowds for sports games, thousands of karaoke stars singing along with hit artists, and any number of versions of shows being "on ice", just to name a few. As artists make their way up and down the East Coast while on tour, a number of them always make a stop in the Capital Region.

Not only that, but a select few of them have even left the arena without an empty seat.

The MVP Arena (and its many former names) has welcomed countless legendary artists into the building over the years, and keeps track of some of the more memorable shows on its official website. It prides itself as Upstate New York's premier sports and entertainment facility, and based on some of these names, who can argue with that?
