Help Local Food Banks With The Virtual Food Drive This Thursday

One of the amazing things about going through difficult times is the way you The Breeze listener and residents in the Capital Region in general step up to help each other out. During these difficult times, some of our Capital Region neighbors are not only struggling to pay bills but they are also struggling to keep food on the table. The good news is we are all in this together and you can help.

This Thursday, May 14th starting at 6am you can listen all day long to 103.9 The Breeze as we team up with Trustco Bank for our Virtual Food Drive to benefit the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.  We will be raising money to help our region’s leading hunger relief organization which is providing food to a growing number of people in need.

I know you have seen how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected so many, right in our neighborhoods. These are our friends and family members. They are hard working, good people who are dealing with circumstances that are simply out of their control. And the food bank has been there to help so many during this rough stretch. You can read here how they are feeding school kids, senior citizens and those who have suddenly lost their jobs and are seeking food assistance for the first time. The food bank has been there form them and you can be there for the food bank this Thursday by making a donation to help ensure our neighbors do not go hungry.
