The holidays are right around the corner and our household doesn't need an excuse to have packages delivered to our house. But package delivery gets very busy during the holiday season and UPS is looking to fill hundreds of positions. UPS is hoping to hire one hundred thousand essential seasonal workers across the country. In the Capital Region alone, they are hoping to employ two hundred seventy employees for the holiday rush. The jobs would begin in October and run through January of 2022 according to the Times Union.

Throughout the pandemic, we wouldn't have been able to survive without the deliveries from UPS. Not only did we get the supplies we all needed but we got supplies for others and everything else from birthday gifts to clothing. I am convinced that my fiancee has an online shopping problem. Just look at this order we got in two days during the pandemic.

UPS really wants to fill the positions of package handlers, drivers, driver helpers, and personal vehicle drivers. With UPS, you will get an answer and a job offer with a half-hour. Plus if you become a seasonal employee at UPS, the job usually turns into a career. One-third of people who have worked for UPS as seasonal package handlers in the last three years we hired permanently after the holiday season.
