According to News 10 ABC, McDonald’s restaurants are planning a one-day hiring event on September 2 throughout all of New York State. With as many people that are currently out of work as a result of the pandemic, this is good news for people looking to keep their heads above water.

McDonald's has made it relatively easy to fill out an application through a variety of ways. Interested applicants according to the report, can fill out an application online, may visit any McDonald's restaurant and inquire there, or simply send McDonald's a text message. If you choose to message them, you need to send the text 'mcdworksforme' to 36453. According to the source, you will get a message back from McDonald's with the link to begin the application process.

According to the McDonald's website, they've got something for everyone, "whether you're looking for your first job, next job, a job in between jobs, or your last job, there is a position that’s a fit for you at a McDonald’s restaurant."

There are over 600 McDonald's restaurants in New York State and hundreds in the Capital Region.
