How To Track When You’ll Get $1,400 Stimulus Payment

The IRS has set up a new website where you can track the status of your next stimulus payment.

If you are expecting another stimulus payment with the recently approved COIVD relief package, the IRS has set up a website where you can check the status of your payment and track the date when it will be deposited into your bank account.

The website will not tell you what the amount of your payment will be, but you can track if it has been processed and when it will be deposited into your account. The direct deposit stimulus payments have already started going out, and some Americans were already receiving them this past Friday (March 12th). If your payment has not processed yet, or if you are ineligible, the tool will tell say process status is not available. If you typically receive a check for your tax returns, the IRS says stimulus checks or debit cards will be going out in the coming weeks.

If you are trying to determine if you are eligible for a payment, here are the adjusted gross income thresholds from the IRS website broken down by filing status:

• $150,000 if married and filing a joint return
• $112,500 if filing as head of household or
• $75,000 for individual returns

The relief packages will be phased out for those above these limits.. Anyone making $160,000 Married/$120,000 Head Of House Hold/$80,000 individual or more will not be eligible for the 3rd stimulus payment.
