One of the best places to take your kids during the summer is Huck Finn's Playland and we finally know when they will open for the summer. Here are the details of the opening and some guidelines that will be in place. When I was growing up, Hoffman's Playland was the place to be in the summer and we loved it. Now that Huck Finn has taken it over, it has been a part of my son's childhood too. We weren't sure if Huck Finn's Playland would be opening this season due to the coronavirus pandemic but we now have an opening date.

According to CBS 6 News, the reopening of Huck Finn's Playland in Albany will be on July 1. The amusement park will open for the season but there will be some changes including guidelines for the safety of customers and employees. Albany Executive Dan McCoy said that outdoor amusement parks may not be part of Phase Four and be able to reopen next week. But Huck Finn's Playland is hoping for the best.

Huck Finn's Playland will be taking reservations and there will be two play periods available each day. The first block will be from 11 am until 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. After you have made your reservation on the website, you will get an email confirmation of your time slot. There are some restrictions and if the weather causes the day to be canceled, you will be rescheduled.

Huck Finn's Playland will be doing a wristband that is fifteen dollars for unlimited rides during the timeslot you have reserved. You will be able to buy additional tickets and wristbands at the park when you are there.

You can still hold your child's birthday party at Huck Finn's Playland. They are available each day from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. based on availability.

There are many cleaning procedures and some COVID-19 safety guidelines that will be implemented at Huck Finn's Playland. To read these, click HERE.
