Hope you're not too sick of the ice yet because this natural ice circle that formed previously in the Adirondacks is pretty spectacular!

Ice, Ice, Baby...It's everywhere in Upstate New York!  I can't remember a time when Capital Region residents have had to poke, dig, and scrape their way out of a mess quite like this.

And while we're spinning our wheels trying to get where we're going without breaking our backs, Mother Nature spins something different; it's mesmerizing and hypnotic and found deep in the Adirondack forest.

It's a rare phenomenon known as an ice circle or ice pan; a natural event that occurs in slow-moving water in cold climates.  It's plausible that the wild shifts in our recent Upstate New York weather could be causing a similar situation right now for some lucky person to stumble upon.

According to NewYorkUpstate.com, Laura Carusone of Queensbury witnessed this spinning ice disc with her cousin Jason Carusone and son Louis Allison, just below Bushnell Falls, and discovered the natural phenomenon.

Her son Louis Allison said the place was an "enchanted forest," and it's hard to disagree with him.  Take a look at the video here:
