The reaction on The Lionheart Pub's Facebook page has been mostly positive after announcing that they would be closing their doors until the situation with COVID-19 gets better here in the Capital Region.

In their Facebook post they said, "In response to the Governor’s most recent mandates, the Lionheart Pub will be shutting down until COVID-19 numbers drop low enough that we can open without concern."

There are lots of comments in support of their decision to shut down like Brian Guitler who wrote, "Awesome to see a smart response to the governor’s announcement today. I for one appreciate any local business thinking about the community in this difficult time for everyone. I’ll remember this decision after the country has the virus under control."

Governor Cuomo announced that starting today, Friday, November 13th that bars, restaurants, and gyms or fitness centers, as well as any State Liquor Authority-licensed establishment, will be required to close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily. Restaurants will still be allowed to provide curbside, food-only pick-up or delivery after 10 p.m., but will not be permitted to serve alcohol to go.
