The historic building that once was the home Rocco's restaurant is getting a new life as a wood-fired pizza restaurant.

I love pizza. My family and I eat pizza almost every Friday night....but we LOVE wood-fired pizza. That smokey, crisp and bubbled crust overflowing with hot toppings and smothered in gooey cheese.....mmmmmm I gotta go get some NOW!

Sorry, I got distracted fantasizing about pizza....back to the story.

This historic building is on the National Register of Historic Places and believed to be built in 1850. Locally it's known as The Jonesville Store. It's at the corner of Main Street and Longkill Road.

Coming in March or early April the wood-fired pizza restaurant and catering business called Classic Crust Brick & Mortar sounds like my kinda place.

Save me a booth and a slice!
