Opening Dates for Area’s Most Popular Ice Cream Stops

A taste of warmer weather recently has many in the Capital Region longing for a trip to their favorite ice cream spot.  Lucky for us, there are plenty of ice cream places already open as well as some opening this weekend or a short time after.  Ready to satisfy your sweet tooth and curb your cravings? Here's a list of some of our favorite Capital Region ice cream spots opening soon.

Jack's Drive-In in Wynantskill opened up on Monday for the season and this weekend (their first of the year) will surely be a big one for them.

The Grandstand Ice Cream in Schenectady opens on March 12th.

Guptills Ice Cream in Latham will open this Saturday starting at 11am.

Martha's Dandee Creme in Queensbury will have their grand opening starting at 11 am on Saturday March 14th.

Kurver Kreme in Albany opens on Monday March 16th at 11am

Curry Freeze in Rotterdam opens on St. Patty's Day March 17th

Mac's Drive-In Watervliet also will open on March 17th.

Control Tower Ice Cream in Latham opens on April 1st.

Country Drive-In in Clifton Park also opens on April 1st.

Scoups Homemade Ice Cream in Loudonville starts serving on April 1st.
