According to our guy Ryan Talbot of syracuse.com, DraftKings Sportsbook put out in their betting report that Buffalo has not defeated a defending Super Bowl champion in the regular season nor the playoffs since 2013. What? Yes, that is correct. Talbot noted that the Bills almost ended that streak last season but lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in overtime 33-27. In 2020, the Bills lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the regular season and in the AFC Championship game. The streak now stands at 0 for 9. Ouch!

Ryan Talbot reported that Buffalo’s last win over a reigning Super Bowl champion came when the team defeated the Baltimore Ravens 23-20 back in 2013. Tom Brady also did his part with the New England Patriots sweeping the Bills in their season series in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
