Life is pretty good when you are a World Series champion in the city of Atlanta or any city for that matter! You are almost ensured the best seats in the house. When your old buddy from high school is the shooting guard for the local NBA team, well then you two have each other covered with those good seats!

Rexford, New York native and Shenendehowa High School graduate Ian Anderson was in the house for Game 4 of the NBA playoffs between the Miami Heat and his Shen teammate, Kevin Huerter's Atlanta Hawks. When you are a World Series champion, the media, including Lauren Jbara of Ballys Sports South, is going to want to talk to you.

Of course Jbara was more than impressed with Anderson's 2021 Atlanta Braves World Series ring and from the smile on Ian's face and his enthusiasm, the young right-hander was happy to show it off. He did his best modeling display as he opened the ring for the viewers, as he eagerly described its attributes.

Anderson pitched 5 innings on Saturday against the Miami Marlins for the Braves. He gave up 2 earned runs in the no-decision. The former Shenendehowa Plainsman is 1-1 on the season in 3 starts. Unfortunately, his former teammate Huerter and his Atlanta Hawks had a tough afternoon on Sunday against the Miami Heat losing 110-86. Huerter finished with 4 points and the Hawks now face elimination from the NBA playoffs on Tuesday in Miami. It's always nice to have a good friend in the stands.
