Every holiday season there are traditions that we all look forward to. The first being snowfall of the season, putting up Christmas lights on your house, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.

Well, like everything else in 2020 the world's most famous Christmas tree is an absolute clusterf@ck. Seriously, who picked this to be the Christmas tree that will represent the holiday season in New York, Stevie Wonder?

People have flocked to social media to mock this iconic symbol of the holiday season. Comments like, "Charlie Brown: I have the saddest Christmas Tree. Rockefeller Center: Hold my beer,” "In true 2020 form, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree looks like it tried to cut its own hair," and "The 2020 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree looks like 2020 feels.”

This isn't the only ugly 2020 Christmas tree gracing a city center. The Christmas tree on fountain square in Cincinnati is nothing to write home about either. I'm pretty sure the new Rockefeller tree will give it a run for its money as the ugliest tree of all time.

In some ways, this really is the perfect Christmas tree to represent 2020. We're all a little ragged, tired, and not looking our best after an exhausting year. So, throw a giant mask on it, string some lights in the branches and let's call it a Christmas tree that fits this year perfectly.
