Saratoga Springs Is Getting A New Downtown Bakery This Fall

A local baking company you probably know will be opening a brick and mortar location later this year.

Another downtown bakery in Saratoga Springs? Yes please!

According to a Saratoga Living story, Casey's Homemade Goods has plans in place to open a storefront at a yet to be disclosed location in downtown Saratoga Springs. They currently offer baked goods for purchase online, selling everything from sugar cookies to macaroons to bread. If you love baked goods, Casey's serves up the goods! Casey tells Saratoga Living the bakery will have a "vintage 1920's vibe" with areas to eat in, and they plan on having live entertainment as well as some events.

This is the 2nd eatery opening I have seen come up this week and hopefully this is a good sign the economy is starting to build a little momentum as we get into the New York state phases of reopening (You can read about a new Clifton Park Mexican restaurant here). The fact new businesses are setting up shop has to be a hopeful sign we are turning the corner after everything shut down in March! As we get back out and about and back to work, we can do our part by supporting these new spots and our regular haunts as well.
