We can find one positive that has come out of this pandemic. Instead of a one-day Wing Walk, Schenectady has turned it into a week-long event called, "Wing Week". Here's how to help local restaurants and enjoy the most delicious wings in Schenectady. According to News 10 ABC, Schenectady has changed up its annual Wing Walk. It usually happens on the first Saturday of October but this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, they had to switch it up. Now they are going to have an entire week's worth of wings throughout the city.

"Wing Week" begins today (Monday, October 5th) and runs through Sunday, October 11th. You are able to dine in or take out from any of the participating restaurants and enjoy a wide variety of wing flavors.

For the past eight years, the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation has been putting on the Wing Walk and due to COVID, they were forced to change it. They decided that they would not cancel the event, but make it the best that they could while helping local restaurants.

All the restaurants will offer a unique wing flavor along with three different sizes to choose from. Small sizes range from one to six wings, regular is five to twelve wings, and double size consists of ten to twenty-four wings. You can either visit the restaurants for dine-in or call ahead and pick up your wings.
