Stores That Will Be Closed On Thanksgiving Day

There are still a few weeks until Thanksgiving, but if you are planning out how to do your Black Friday shopping, a list of the stores that will be closed on the holiday is out. It seems that every year, shoppers are encouraged to get out earlier and earlier with some stores open on Thanksgiving Day. There are a handful of retailers that refuse to open on Thanksgiving so their employees and their families can be together on the holiday.

According to BestBlackFriday.com, with many customers getting online deals, this allows retailers to be closed and observe the Thanksgiving holiday. Some of the stores that will not be open on Thanksgiving are BJ's Wholesale Club, Hobby Lobby, HomeGoods, Lowe's, Marshalls, Petco, Sam's Club, T.J. Maxx, and Burlington.
