String of Vehicle Thefts Reported In Ballston Spa

Live in Ballston Spa? Remember to keep your car doors locked.

According to a News 10 report, Ballston Spa Police are warning residents to keep their car and garage doors locked after some reported "thefts from vehicles" in the Colonial Hills area. Police are also increasing their presence in the affect neighborhoods and are encouraging residents to keep their outdoor lights on.

I have to say, having someone break into your car, and I imagine your home, is just a terrible feeling. This happened to me a few years back. I left my car unlocked and had a bunch of CDs stolen. While it was not an expensive loss, having my space disrespected was not a great feeling.
