When it comes to chain restaurants, we have plenty to choose from across New York State. There are a variety of chicken places, Mexican chains, burger joints, pizza places, and more. We now know, however, which restaurant chains are the least trusted in the country.

Panera Bread is settling a multi-million dollar lawsuit that alleges the company ripped off customers without them even knowing.

The New York State Thruway is in the process of overhauling all 27 of the rest areas. Although they are only working on a handful at a time, the renderings have been revealed. Not only will they be more of an open concept, but some will also have dog parks and all will have better food options. Look for Shake Shack, Panera, Starbucks, Panda Express, Chik-fil-A, Popeyes, Dunkin, Burger King, and a new fresh concept Applegreen convenience stores. Taste NY farm markets will be at each rest area along with play areas and picnic areas. There will be amenities for commercial truck drivers including more truck parking, showers, fitness centers, and laundry facilities.

If you've ever been to the Panera Bread on Maxwell Drive in Clifton Park, you know it is always busy. Finally, they are doing something about it. They are building a new Panera Bread to accommodate the larger crowds by building a smaller location.

The New York State Thruway Authority will begin a four hundred fifty million dollar project to renovate the twenty-seven service areas throughout New York state. They will rebuild twenty-three of the rest area buildings and the others will be significantly upgraded.
