You may not know that the Capital Region and the Adirondacks have a large population of black bears. As much as I would love to see one and be able to pet that beautiful fuzzy animal, I know I can't. That doesn't mean that you may not come across one especially this time of year.

New York is fifth on the list of Bigfoot sightings, and I think I've actually had one.

There have been more and more wildlife sightings in the Capital Region lately. There have also been more bears seen in both rural and city areas in recent weeks. One county is putting out an alert and giving tips on how to deal with black bears in the area.
