Since the pandemic and recession that followed the government has spent a lot of money trying to keep the economy going

I have to tell you, all of these pandemic terms drive me nuts. It started with social distancing. That wasn't terminology that was used prior to 2020 but now it's the new normal. See? There's another one! The latest is one that I might be ale to get behind though. It's called a "plus-up" payment.

Is there a 4th stimulus payment headed to your bank account in 2021? Will we see stimulus payments become a recurring payment? The answer to both might be a yes!

Imagine you are counting on that $1400 stimulus payment. You need it to pay the rent, keep the lights on, feed you family. Finally it arrives! Deposited into your account and then BAM! It's gone. That is a reality for some in the Capital Region.

According to Syracuse.com, the U.S. Treasury Department says it has already sent out 90 million stimulus payments totaling $242 billion and about 150,000 checks totaling $442 million.. Are you one in 90.4 million?

President Biden signed the $1.9 trillion bill earlier than planned and one of the items many Americans want to know about is the $1,400 stimulus payment. According to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, if you are one of the eligible Americans, look for a direct deposit as early as this weekend.

It looks as though Congress is closing in on a bill that would include up to a $1400 direct payment to most Americans by March. This is part of President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief bill.

Many Americans have received their second stimulus, but for some still looking for it, you may have mistakenly thrown it away. There are a few things you need to look for even if your last payment was through direct deposit.

The Capital Region is a buzz about the second stimulus payment from the government. Payments started going out on December 29, 2020 and some got their $600 directly deposited immediately while others received theirs by mail. So, why haven't you received yours? One reason might be that you are not eligible.

Regarding the corona virus relief deal, President-elect Joe Biden told reporters “The stimulus package is encouraging but it’s a down payment, an important down payment on what’s going to have to be done beginning the end of January into February, but it’s very important it get done.”
