What’s Open and What’s Closed On The 4th in The Capital Region

The 4th of July is this Saturday and here's a brief list of what's open and what's closed:

All banks will be closed on Saturday.

CDTA buses will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Saturday.

Most federal, state, city and municipal offices will be closed.

There will be no mail pickup or delivery on Saturday.

Garbage will be picked up in Albany on Saturday. In Schenectady, garbage pickup will be moved forward one day and stay that way until Labor Day.

All museums will be closed.

Grocery stores will be open but might close early.
