WWE Smackdown is Coming to Albany!
It's been 7 long years since WWE Smackdown has been to the Cap City. That all changes on Friday, April 22nd!
Friday Night Smackdown's live nationwide broadcast on Fox will originate from the MVP Arena in Albany. The night will feature some big names too. In the main event, Roman Reigns will take on Drew McIntyre.
A number of other superstars are scheduled to be on hand as well:

- The USO's (Smackdown Tag Team Champions)
- Sasha Banks
- Big E
- Kofi Kingston
- Shinsuke Nakamura

If you've never experienced the WWE live, even if you're not a fan, GO. It's a show and an energy that's like nothing else. Also, masks and proof of vaccine are no longer required at MVP Arena, so yell as loud as you want.
The return of WWE to Albany is a big step back to normal in the Capital Region, so if you've been cooped up and social distancing but want to finally experience an exciting night out with friends or family, this is a great night to do it.
