Liveability ranked Albany at #50 on their list of America's Top 100 Places to live, and it seems the city has been popping up on many of these "best of" lists of late.

So how did Liveability score the cities on this list? Liveability says its rankings are based on "... safety, affordability, economic stability, outdoor recreation, accessibility, community engagement." Here is what Liveability had to say about Albany:

Though Albany, NY is an easy three-hour drive to both New York City and Boston, the capital of New York State boasts plenty of amenities without leaving the area. And urbanites are smitten with the city’s growing dining scene that somehow managed to expand during the pandemic.

So while we love to complain about life here at times, overall we do have it pretty good - Except for the high taxes!! And with all these "best of" recognitions, we are receiving, maybe everyone else is catching on to how great life is in the Albany area.
