Pancakes may be the perfect breakfast food and today you can get them for free today in honor of National Pancake Day. To celebrate National Pancake Day, today only participating IHOP restaurants will be offering free pancakes. They will also be asking for donations to support a great cause.

According to News Channel 13, today only you can dine in at participating IHOP restaurants from 7 am until 7 pm and get one free short stack of original buttermilk pancakes. They are also asking that you make a donation that will go toward children who are battling critical illnesses. IHOP supports the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals including The Bernard and Millie Duker Children's Hospital in Albany, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
