Another Direct Flight on Discount Airline Coming to Upstate Airport

As this Upstate NY airport is underway with major renovations and upgrades, another discount airline has announced a direct flight to an east coast capital city.

The Albany International Airport is being upgraded and the renovations will take some time but new airlines and direct flights are being added.

The latest announcement is that Avelo Airlines which is a discount airline will start service from Albany International Airport. This discount airline adds another low-cost option for the Capital Region.

Avelo Airlines will start service to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina on May 10th. They will offer non-stop flights twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. This will be the first time that Albany is connecting to the capital of North Carolina.

Starting May 10, Avelo will offer twice-weekly nonstop flights on Mondays and Fridays to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina.
