Clifton Park is about to get another destination to grab that post-workout or breakfast smoothie.

If you are looking for a quick hunger fix, while keeping that meal super healthy, a great smoothie usually fills the bill. I myself have been trying to exercise and eat my way back into shape this summer and a smoothie has been my post-workout and breakfast go-to when I want something fast, filling, and nutritious.

There actually already a few great Clifton Park smoothie destinations like Fruit Loop in the Clifton Park Center Mall and Bare Blends opposite Hannaford in the Village Plaza. Now a third smoothie destination is coming to that same general area.

Smoothie King Announces New Clifton Park Location

If you have noticed some construction at the old NBT Bank location at Village Plaza in Clifton Park, that is because Smoothie King is building a new shop there. The new location is listed on their website and while they have not posted an opening date, the website says they will be "blending soon."

Smoothie King's menu offers everything you would expect and they categorize different blends into categories like "feel energized," "get fit," "manage weight," and more.  The chain describes its offerings as  "A menu made just for you — with countless combinations of whole fruits, organic veggies and nutritional enhancers for endless ways to Rule The Day."

We can add Smoothie King to the exciting list of new eateries scheduled to open soon in Clifton Park as far as new eateries. Druther's is set to open later this month plus a new Chick-Fil-A at the old Pier One location is still on the horizon.
